So scary. I read Toren's tag as "SMRT" like, the transport company in Singapore. Rahimah's econs tutorials are getting to me and i hope that's a good thing, temporarily at least.
So much has happened in the last week, some ridiculous, shocking, outrightly crazy and some pretty damn nice. I've adopted a new theory, that of Perfect Moments, Perfect Days. So far, it's worked out pretty well. Mindset, i say. As much as Kevin wants to fight me with all his KI knowledge and intellectual capability that mindsets can't be forced and Perfection is merely an illusion, well i say: Screw that, it's a darn good illusion nonetheless.
After talking to Daph today about comfort, unglamness and basically being a little more than presentable in a college of pretties and girls who come across as a little too demure to be what us Crescent girls are used to, it hit me once again how fantastically blessed i am that i went to the right school for me. I wound't have given up my 4 years in Crescent for the world. Snide remarks and teasing comments about the rumoured sexuality of many aside, the more i think about it, the more i'm convinced that indeed, Crescent has truly moulded batches of "Ladies and Leaders of Tomorrow". So for all the complaints that are made currently by students, it's comforting to know that the majority will probably feel quite the opposite when it comes to biding our Alma Mater goodbye.
After talking to my mum today, i feel really, really blessed that things have worked out the way they have. I don't know, i've had my doubts but there's a solid certainty in knowing i can count on certain people to lean on and to understand, listen, and simply be there as a support in times of need and to lift my spirits higher even when i'm already smiling.
Thank God for you.
I've been thinking about going away and it's funny how the idea of leaving Singapore's getting scarier as it draws nearer... Okay maybe it's not so funny afterall. Oh well, take life a Perfect Moment and Perfect Day at a time, and who knows? Life will just take you by surprise.
Trust.
